Replaces Teleport to the Moonglade.

Comment by lucidfox

The most beautifully animated spell in the game, in my opinion.

Comment by Zidane3838

This spell WILL teleport you back to where you teleported from. The one minute cooldown is pretty annoying though.

Comment by Pinkphoenix

Hiya There!
Here's some interesting news for you! This amazing little spell, which replaces the druid's previous teleportation to Moonglade, takes you to an intermediary zone that is connected to:
* The Druid Order Hall
* Hyjal
* Moonglade
* Hinterlands
* Grizzly Hills
* Feralas
* Duskwood
* Ashenvale
Another little tidbit, this spell acts a lot like the monk ability to teleport to the Peak of Serenity. That is to say, wherever you are in the world when you initially cast the spell to enter the Dreamway, will be the same place you return if you cast it again inside the Dreamway (includes the Druid Order Hall)!
This mean you can pop in to do a few things, and then pop straight back out and continue on your missions in the world! No messy flight paths, no hearthstones... just entering a dream and waking up from it!
Enjoy!

** Almost forgot to mention! If you are a big fan of the auction house, and considering that the Dalaran in Legion doesn't contain such, you can easily use the portal to Hyjal. It brings you really close to the portal there that goes to Stormwind! However, using one of the portals inside of the Dreamway (excluding the Order Hall) will cancel your ability to port back to your previous location in the world!

Comment by Jemiide

Strange thing just happened but when i used my Dreamwalk i got ported to the Emerald Nightmare raid. Anyone experienced something familiar?

Comment by Invaerne

I used that spell on big lags (about 15k ms) and found out that Blizz actually made the animation much longer than you normally see. When the shadow on that moon thing disapears, it starts appearing all over again and then the moon starts going away to make place to the sun or something. I don't really know how to describe it properly, but it was kinda fascinating. Want to see it again!
Edit: That's like I said. Captured it on screenshot today.

Comment by ginny

This ability can be used inside instances. This can make it very useful in raids for respeccing via a rested area, e.g. the Dreamgrove (Druid Class Hall), then returning to the same original instance/zone when re-used.

Comment by Xharant

Interesting fact:
I did this while the server froze during Legion's assault on Azsuna, and I found out that the animation doesn't end with the full moon, it actually gets back to the new moon after it is completely filled, then you'll see the moon leaving her place to a sun. In the end, you'll see a solar eclipse, then the animation will reset

Comment by Cellhawk

A weird thing happened to me. I was in Val'sharah during Legion assault and I was trying to get to Emerald Dreamway with this spell. Got a little bit of loading and suddenly I'm standing in Orgrimmar next to an altar with smoldering skeleton, ashes and a spear (48.21, 48.70). Never seen it before.

Comment by Novvex

I used this in my class hall because I'm lazy and it took me to a graveyard right outside Starthlome. weird

Comment by Ghyndui

OK, I just got my Druid to Legion after leveling several other classes...
How does one get back to new Dalaran if I 'port out from another zone? e.g. I hearth to new Dalaran, fly to Highmountain to complete a quest, 'port to the Dreamway to get to Dreamgrove to pick next zone or level my artifact, then want to get back to new Dalaran to check my profession trainers for new quests? The new Dalaran hearthstone has a 20 minute CD. Any other way besides flying?

Comment by Kaorhy

If like me you really liked the Teleport Moonglade icon, you can easily create a macro casting Dreamwalk with the Moonglade icon. Icon is near the top of the list, close to the Arcane mage spells, just scroll down a bit.

Please remove the level requirement since it is pointless. What's the point for adding that if you can only access it at level 98, which is 84 levels higher than it imposed.

Comment by Tithonaki

This appears to have been changed or is bugged. I cannot teleport back to my original location when I go to the Dreamgrove, using this spell a second time just puts me back into the middle of the DG.

Nice macro when using Dreamwalk to farm instances. When you Dreamwalk back to the instance from Emerald Dreamway, all instances will be reset.Dreamwalker

Comment by Tofu4679

If you're doing Legion in Chromie Time this spell will not appear in your spell book until...who knows when. Did not unlock at lvl 22 with Teleport: Moonglade. I reported as a bug.

Comment by Karquile

Just a couple of obvious things:
(JoeGeorge)
  • You lose the Teleport: Moonglade spell when you get Dreamwalk, but you can still get to Moonglade - it's the portal to your southwest when you arrive.
  • You can summon friends (non-druid, any level) to Emerald Dreamway (via Warlock or Recruit-a-Friend summon) and they can use the exit portals same as you. Not a bad location to stash a summoning alt.

Comment by RedwoodRogers

Personally, I'm really interested in the in-universe idea behind this spell; for the most part, the Emerald Dream is accessed, well, by sleeping, apparently leaving your body behind as your spirit explores this astral realm. However, I've read that Dryads, and like the Sons of Cenarius, can shift their bodies between the Dream and reality, and so I wonder if that's perhaps what's happening here. Maybe the Dreamway makes it easier to do, or is, like, an entry-way for shifting your body into the Dream, hence why you end up here no matter where in the world you are when you cast the spell.

To learn this spell on my Shadowlands druid that had never completed any Legion content, I did the following:
1. Go to the mission board in Orgrimmar/Stormwind and pick up the Legion intro quest (Horde version: Legion: The Legion Returns). Play the quest line until Keep Your Friends Close, at which point there's no follow up quest, since it's no longer in the game. Note: I'm not sure if this first step is necessary or if you can skip it. Can someone leave a comment?
2. Go to Dalaran. You get there by going to the portal room in Orgrimmar/Stormwind and taking the portal to Azsuna (not 'Dalaran, Crystalsong Forest' -- that's Old Dalaran). Then fly east from Azsuna until you reach the city of Dalaran.
3. In Dalaran, pick up A Summons From Moonglade from Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem at /way 61.63 44.74 (YouTube video)
4. Follow the quest chain until To The Dreamgrove, which will award you Dreamwalk.
Step 1 takes about 30 minutes, and the rest about 15 minutes.
----------------------
Dreamwalk will replace Teleport: Moonglade in your spellbook. It teleports you to Emerald Dreamway.
There's a portal to Moonglade in the Emerald Dreamway, so you can still get to Moonglade easily. In addition to Moonglade, the Emerald Dreamway also has portals to:
Duskwood
Feralas
Grizzly Hills
The Hinterlands
Mount Hyjal
The Dreamgrove in Val'sharah
Dreamwalk says that it has a 1 minute cooldown, but you can teleport back immediately. You just cannot teleport *to* the Emerald Dreamway more than once per minute, so if you teleported in and teleported out immediately, you'd have to wait 1 minute.

Teleports the caster to the Emerald Dreamway.
Casting Dreamwalk again while in the Emerald Dreamway will return you back to near your departure point.

As the quantum field impacts the organization of space and time, those of us on the Ascension path may be more easily entering altered consciousness states that could be defined as Dreamwalking. In this definition, the function of dreamwalking is not entering or interfering with any person’s dreams. A person who can dreamwalk through the different timelines and stations of reality is called as Dreamwalker.

Dreamwalking is to walk or transport one’s consciousness to observe and heal the patterns and events transpiring in many alternate realities and timelines. To see the nature of the structure of what created them and to partner with God to find and remove reality boxes or dark portals that are used as Consciousness Traps. Dreamwalking is an altered state of heightened consciousness while in the pure observer state, it can occur while in another timeline, reality or exist outside of time. While in this altered state, we can bring that which was unconscious into our conscious awareness, so we can directly participate with that content while in our higher consciousness. The path of awakening is to bring that which is unconscious into consciousness, in order to heal the darkness or reveal the deception, to see the greater truth. This is the state of bringing the eternal light to illuminate the shadows of darkness, thereby alchemically transforming its nature to reflect the higher truth, as the light shines upon it.

While Dreamwalking, it is possible to observe any kind of event that has occurred in a location, that has recorded collective consciousness archetypes, symbols, number codes, geometric patterns, Holographic Inserts and the narratives they create, to influence the minds and control the operating consciousness levels of the people on the earth.[1]

Dreamwalker Codes

Indigenous peoples, Native Americans, Aborigines, Tibetans and the Celtic peoples are the earth tribes which carried the codes of the dreamwalkers in time, and were helping to protect the earth by keeping this genetic pattern alive and its memory available for the human race during the Dark Age. The earliest Dreamwalkers after the cataclysm, were the women of this earth that formed from the Grandmother Turtle Codes that were carried over from Lemuria’s matriarchal society, to keep this secret consciousness knowledge away from the invaders. Lemuria suffered a great holocaust to obliterate the power that the women had developed on the earth, with dreamwalker and Essene Templar abilities. As the Mother principle and daughter codes surface onto the earth from deep within the crystal caverns, this codified language is returning to some of the women or men in their current embodiment, that were incarnated at the time or are descendants of those original tribes in Lemuria. This group of dreamwalkers, have returned to help restore the balance of the divine feminine principle on the earth, and many are found in the Native American or aboriginal culture.
